Terms and Conditions
Congratulations on the purchase of your new N+ Mercedes AMG Petronas product. To ensure that you experience many years of enjoyment and riding fun, in addition to the statutory warranty and guarantees, we voluntarily grant for all frames an extended warranty of 2 years in total from the date your bike is delivered for frames, forks and other major parts listed under the Extended Parts Warranty list.
The Warranty Offered
Applies in the event of and is limited to a structural defect in the workmanship or materials at the time of receiving the delivered goods and excludes normal wear and tear. The Consumer shall be entitled to request from us to repair the defect or to supply replacement Goods (as ordered) which are free from those defects.
Only applies for material and workmanship defects that already existed on delivery where proof of purchase and photographic proof of defect is provided and any guarantee period that exceeds the legal warranty period in the relevant jurisdiction is limited to the original owner and excludes additional costs of transport, duties, and assembly/disassembly. This does not apply to normal wear and tear, damage to the paintwork/anodization/coatings during ownership, tire punctures, misuse, accident, neglect, corrosion, damage in transit or improper assembly.
All parts not specifically mentioned above are subject to wear or are consumables and are not covered by warranty including tires, spokes, bearings, brake pads, chains, belts, sprockets, bottom brackets, painted surfaces, saddles, handlebar tape, rubber inserts, bolts, threads, sliding bearing surfaces, non-rechargeable batteries, and pedals. For safety, the parts must be replaced by the customer once they reach their wear limit.
Third party components such as SRAM, Shimano, Pinion are warrantied directly by those manufacturers.
Like any rechargeable battery, rechargeable battery packs will experience a decrease in capacity over time as they are subjected to charge and discharge cycles. N+ AMG Petronas Bikes warranties that your battery pack will maintain 70% or higher capacity for at least 500 charge cycles or two years whichever comes first.

In addition to the statutory warranty and guarantees, we voluntarily grant an extended warranty on the following parts:

Additional Conditions
Without any limitation of the statutory warranty rights of the Consumer, our voluntary warranty is subject to the following additional conditions:
1. Customer agrees to adhere to care, maintenance and operating instructions detailed in your product manual.
2. The warranty does not cover damages caused by inappropriate or unspecified use of Goods as described on our website and operation manuals, including:

Neglect of Goods (lack of care and maintenance).

Failure to properly install or assemble the Goods or use a properly qualified technician for repairs or maintenance.

Damage from competition or stunt riding, ramp jumping, acrobatics or similar activities or any activity that is not consistent with the intended use of the product.

Water damage.

Any defects or damages caused by actions that are inconsistent with any guidance or warnings set forth in any owner’s manuals or product assembly instructions.

Damages resulting from power surges or improper charging of the battery pack or use of any charger not supplied by N+ AMG Petronas Bikes or its authorized dealers.

Replacement of electrical or mechanical components with non-identical components that were not expressly approved by us.

Unauthorized modifications including altering your bike's performance, such as increasing the electric assistance beyond the legal limit.

Mounting of incompatible third-party accessories.

Product that has the serial number or the bar code removed, defaced, damaged, altered or made illegible.

Vandalism.

Damage to the bike caused by a collision, dropping, crash or accident.

Excessive loads of any kind, including exceeded rider weight, towing or commercial use.

Scratches, dents, decals and other cosmetic damage to paint finish, including color changes as a result of exposing the bike to, or riding the bike in, severe weather conditions, due to environmental factors or cleaning products.
3. We reserve the right to first repair Goods under warranty. Only after Goods are determined non-repairable by Customer Support will a return or replacement be considered.
4. We reserve the right to replace Goods when appropriate under warranty. If it is determined it is necessary to change the model, we will endeavor to replace it with the same or a similar model based on current availability.
Replacement parts will not be sent until photographic or other evidence has been provided. We may request additional documentation (such as video) to assist with accurately diagnosing the problem and processing a warranty claim.
5. We reserve the right to first repair defective lithium-ion batteries under warranty. Only after lithium-ion batteries are determined non-repairable by Customer Support or an approved lithium-ion battery service center will the battery be replaced. It will then be determined what to do with the defective lithium-ion battery.
Information regarding the expected battery range on a single charge on one of our ebikes is an estimate, not a guarantee. There are many factors that contribute to actual, real-world range for an ebike battery such as age of the battery, temperature, level of assist, speed, payload, and terrain. Given the right conditions, it is possible to get less than the expected minimum range or greater than the expected maximum range.
6. Guarantee rights are limited to the above mentioned and any additional costs incurred such as disassembly, transport, duties, taxes and additional costs for assembly due to a model-change are not covered. Within the framework of our voluntary guarantee, the Consumer shall bear these costs.
7. We may refuse to remedy defective Goods in the manner requested by the Consumer if such a remedy would result in unreasonable costs.
8. If your product is shipped and arrives damaged, please contact us directly by phone or e-mail within 3 working days from the date of delivery. Please note that any damage caused by shipping is not covered by this warranty, however a claim may be filed with the shipping company, and we will work together to resolve damaged goods on arrival.
9. Our guarantee is valid only for the original Consumer who purchased the goods and is not transferrable.
10. If any ebike purchase becomes subject to a credit card chargeback in any amount, and you are still in possession of the ebike, then this Warranty shall be invalidated until the credit card chargeback has been resolved.
Submitting a Warranty Claim
The Customer Support Team will not replace Goods under warranty without first seeing photos or video proof of the damaged warranty Goods.
To exercise your right to receive a replacement for a Warranted Product under this Limited Warranty, you must:

Contact the Customer Service Team through our website, contact form, or email. The Customer Service team will initially work with you on the problem with your ebike to identify potential simple fixes.

If the Customer Service Team determines that a Warranted Product must be replaced, they will provide you with a set of instructions for having an Approved Service Provider Find a Service Technician fixing the issue and/or returning the defective Warranted Product and receiving the replacement.

After you receive the replacement Warranted Product, the Customer Service Team will also assist in determining how to replace or install the new Warranted Product onto your ebike.
You will be responsible for shipping costs associated with returning a Warranted Product, unless the Customer Support Team agrees in writing to pay for such shipping costs. Replacement Warranted Products under this Limited Warranty shall only be shipped to the address of the original purchaser or Approved Service Provider Find a Service Technician.
FAQS
All repairs need N+ AMG Petronas Bikes' approval to be covered under warranty. While replacement parts and repair labor costs are covered, any transportation expenses for on-site repairs or travel to and from a service point will be the responsibility of the bike owner. Professional assembly and disassembly are not covered.
A repair or replacement under a warranty does not extend the warranty period.
Warranty is available in country of Goods purchase within US, CAN, EU and UK, some exclusions apply on purchases from authorized Dealerships from outside the listed markets. Claims made outside the country of purchase may be subject to fees and additional restrictions.
